MTV Licenses Seamless
MTV Networks has licensed SEAMLESS for use in network programming. No details are currently available on which tracks will be in what show yet, but we will keep you posted on further developments.

MIDEM 2006
Chosen by IRL Music to be represented at MIDEM 2006 in Nice, France
Amilia to be featured on the cover of the 2006 Catalog and "Trouble" was chosen as one of the first four songs on the IRL marketing Demo CD.

RINGTONES
Amilia's songs chosen to be released January 2006 in Asian Ringtone Markets Starting in Singapore and India, China is soon to join the list.

At the Guthrie Center (The old Alice's Restaurant Church) in Great Barrington, MA .... invited to return the following night as a special musical guest.

On the Radio

Featured live on the WAMC (NE Public Radio) "Performance Place" show on July 6th. The show was simulcast on 14 Northeast Radio stations covering New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut, with an average audience of over 500,000. Joining the ranks of WAMC featured artists the likes of James Taylor, Ani DiFranco, Annie Lennox and Suzanne Vega.

SEAMLESS, the title track of amilia's latest CD, has been selected "Song of the Year" by the Judges at the DIY Music Festival. Amilia and her co-producer Ed Tree also took home the "Producer of the Year" Award at the 2005 DIY Festival for production on Seamless .

~ Germany Tour ~

Amilia has just returned from touring in Germany with David Knopfler and his band. Amilia opened the shows, then joined David on stage to sing harmony, and closed the show with the duet "Tears Fall".  Nine cities were on the schedule for this series, including one show broadcast live on German commercial radio. See the gig schedule for dates and cities.

A Case for Case

Amilia was chosen to perform the song Never Coming Home on the Hungry for Music Tribute to Peter Case titled "A Case for Case"
joining other artists as John Prine, Joe Ely, Dave Alvin, Bill Kirchen, Susan Cowsill, Kim Richey and of course, Peter himself.
(Release scheduled for February 2006)

In studio with Bill Morrissey

Amilia flew to Boston to work with Bill Morrissey on his new CD "The Essential Collection". Amilia provided harmony vocals and arrangements for several of Bill's songs. The CD was released in 2004 by Rounder Records.

A tribute to a legend: "Making God Smile"

Amilia met up with fellow songwriter Tom Prasada-Rao in Virginia to record "Your Imagination" for the Brian Wilson Tribute Compilation, Making God Smile, produced by Silent Planet Records. The track claimed the enviable lead spot on the CD, as well as being the first to be released to radio nationwide.

NPR was in the HOUSE

At Russ and Julie's House Concert in LA, NPR did a story about the House Concert Phenomenon. It aired on "Marketplace", and Amilia's song, "Little Cowboy" is playing at the end of the segment. You'll be able to hear that very song on her new album "Seamless".
